Professional biography

Captain Miguel de Freitas has accumulated more than 10,000 flight hours operating the Boeing 727, Airbus A320, Embraer ERJ-145, Fokker 100, ATR 42/72 and Gulfstream aircraft.

He brings deep expertise in airline operations, safety, compliance and aviation strategy, having supported airline start-ups, operational development projects and pilot training initiatives worldwide.

That operational knowledge is what connects the two divisions: the same standards used to review and improve airline operations are the standards pilots are prepared against in the Academy.
